A famous new resident is coming to Mansfield: Trader Joe’s.

The grocery store chain confirmed it had plans to open a Mansfield, TX location in the near future.

“I am happy to share that we have plans for a store in Mansfield,” a Trader Joe’s spokesperson said via email. “We do not yet have a confirmed location or timeline. We list all of the stores that are opening soon on our website.”

Currently, Trader Joe’s nearest locations to Mansfield are in Fort Worth and Southlake, roughly 35 minutes away. The specialty grocery store is popular for its private-label items, relatively low prices, and rotating seasonal offerings.

It will join a crowded grocery store market in Mansfield that includes H-E-B, Kroger, Market Street, Walmart, ALDI, Sam’s Club, and others. Costco is also slated to open.
