Mansfield Reads! One City, One Book is a community-wide reading initiative that invites Mansfield residents of all ages to read the same book at the same time. Designed to promote literacy, strengthen community connections, and raise awareness of library services, the program brings readers together through shared stories and meaningful conversations.
The One City, One Book concept began in Seattle in 1998 and has since been embraced by communities across the country. Mansfield Public Library is proud to welcome bestselling author Paula McLain for a special discussion of this year’s Mansfield Reads selection, When the Stars Go Dark. Community members are invited to attend this engaging author event and take part in a memorable night celebrating literature, conversation, and community.
