Breaks explained
Thanksgiving break — Students are out the entire week, Monday, November 23 through Friday, November 27, 2026.
Winter break — Students are out from Friday, December 18, 2026 through Wednesday, January 6, 2027, and return to class on Thursday, January 7, 2027. Teachers are out for the "Winter Holiday" Dec. 21 through Jan. 1, and work Jan. 4-6 while students are still off.
Spring break — One full week off, Monday, March 15 through Friday, March 19, 2027.
Bad-weather makeup days
Mansfield ISD builds two flexible make-up days into the calendar: Friday, February 12, 2027 and Friday, March 26, 2027. Both are scheduled as student holidays. If MISD has to cancel school for weather earlier in the year, one or both may convert to a full school day.
